** We encourage you to sing the hymn "Come, Holy Spirit" to prepare your heart and welcome the presence of the Holy Spirit.
Take a Moment for Personal Prayer
Before proceeding, take a moment to connect with God in your own way. Speak from the heart and let your thoughts, feelings, and desires flow naturally. Whether you're seeking guidance, giving thanks, or asking for strength, trust that God hears you and knows the depths of your soul. This is a time for intimate communication with the Divine, where your words don’t need to be perfect—they just need to be sincere. Allow your spirit to rest in God’s presence and offer a prayer that reflects your deepest thoughts.
As we pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet, we will use the rosary as a guide. Each decade of the chaplet will be recited using the rosary beads, allowing us to meditate on the mercy of God while counting the prayers. On the large "Our Father" bead before each decade, we will pray the designated prayer for that decade, followed by the "Hail Mary" beads where we will recite the responses. This structure helps us to focus our hearts and minds on the Divine Mercy of Jesus.
** Please say your intentions. End with an AMEN
** After completing the Divine Mercy Chaplet, we invite you to continue your time of prayer by praying the rosary. The rosary complements the chaplet beautifully, allowing us to further reflect on the life of Christ and the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Let this time of prayer deepen your connection to God’s mercy and love.
** We encourage you to sing the hymn "All to Jesus I Surrender." This song beautifully expresses our total surrender to the Lord and our trust in His Divine Mercy.
** You may choose to pray the 3 O'clock Prayer. This prayer, offered at the hour of Jesus’ death, is a beautiful way to remember His passion and mercy. It invites us to reflect on the infinite love that God has for each of us.
